Rob Martin and Paul Goldsack, who run Christchurch's 600-year-old coaching house Ye Olde George Inn, are two people overflowing with energy and exuberance. So when they chose Piddlehinton as the location for their new venture, the name was a no-brainer and the Dorset Piddle Brewery was born.
Having kitted out their premises with brewhouse, fermentation room, cold store and office , Rob and Paul set to work and now brew around 300 gallons of ale a week in their micro-brewery, and do everything by hand - even the bottling: "This gives us the freedom to try new things and push the boundaries," commented Paul.

Jimmy RiddlePercentage: 3.7% ABV | Units: 2.1 per Pint A refreshingly light and full flavoured fruity beer, brown in colour with a subtle hint of chocolate. Perfect session drinking! |
Santa's PottyPercentage: 3.9% ABV | Units: 2.2 per Pint Dark amber with plenty of mouthfeel, Santa's Potty gives a caramel and toffee maltiness delicately balanced with hops chosen to give a fruity winterberry finish. |
PiddlePercentage: 4.1% ABV | Units: 2.3 per Pint Piddle is light and refreshing and, at 4.1% is easy drinking. Crystal clear and amber in colour, it offers a pleasant balanced bitterness witha citrus twist. |
Leg WarmerPercentage: 4.3% ABV | Units: 2.4 per Pint What better than a proper alcoholic ginger beer! Nice and pale like the real thing with plenty of fresh ginger added to the copper along with Styrian Golding and Saaz hops to give it a fresh lemon earthy finish. |
Pointing PercyPercentage: 4.4% ABV | Units: 2.5 per Pint Pointing Percy is an angalsised rich amber beer at 4.4% made with munich malt & oats and hopped with Peerle Saaz. |

Thunderbox PorterPercentage: 4.5% ABV | Units: 2.6 per Pint Black and full bodied, Thunderbox Porter is packed with light zingy floral and blackcurrent hop flavours. |
Cocky HopPercentage: 4.7% ABV | Units: 2.7 per Pint Bright and golden in colour 'Cocky Hop' is refreshingly punchy and hoppy with a distinguishing lasting bitterness. |
Yogi BeerPercentage: 4.9% ABV | Units: 2.8 per Pint Smooth with a hint of red, an easy drinking beer of character with a rounded fruitiness giving way to a hint of blackcurrant, liquorice and toffee. |
Silent SlasherPercentage: 5.1% ABV | Units: 2.9 per Pint Blonde lager style beer crafted with the finest extra pale malt and wheat. Deceivingly light with hops chosen for their floral aroma and flavour. At 5.1% Silent Slasher is sweet with a refreshing dry bitter finish. |
