Bristol Beer Factory

Situated in one of the remaining buldings of the old Ashton Gate Brewery in South Bristol, the Bristol Beer Factory is keeping one of Bristol's most historic industries alive.
Using locally grown malt and hops the Bristol Beer Factory is once again producing quality ales in the same building that were once producing Ashton Gates 'Sunrise Brand' over 70 years ago.
George Ferguson, a local architect, bought the 100-year-old fermenting block in 2003 and had the romantic idea of putting a brewery back into the then empty shell of a building. Joined by 2 local men, Simon Bartlett and Chris Godden, the idea became reality and within 6 months of starting work on the building, beer was once again being produced on the historic site.
