John and Becky are passionate people for whom quality and traditional brewing methods are at the heart of what they do. After years running their own award winning real ale pub, The Royal Oak in Twerton, Bath, they wanted to make their own brews inspired by the multitude of magnificent British beers they've tried and tested over the years. With a history of not only sampling, ordering and keeping ale but also of being judges at festivals, they have a strong vision of what they want − good clean ales at a range of abv's bursting with hoppy bite and malty gorgeousness.

The following is a list of Art Brew's Real Ales that we have stocked or are coming soon.
Art NouveauPercentage: 3.9% ABV | Units: 2.2 per Pint If you like your hop content high, but your abv low, this golden session ale is ideal. Art Nouveau is packed full of hops (particularly the fragrant Bodicea variety) to make this beer full of flavour despite being just 3.9%. |
i BeerPercentage: 4% ABV | Units: 2.3 per Pint Art Brew's speciality beer, "i Beer" is a vanilla golden ale that balances out strong sweet vanilla flavours with some equally fragrant and punchy hops. A strong flavoured beer and one that is definitely a talking point. |
Hip Hop Green BulletPercentage: 4.3% ABV | Units: 2.4 per Pint This is a beer showcasing the individuality of the New Zealand "Green Bullet" hops. |
Art BrutPercentage: 4.4% ABV | Units: 2.5 per Pint A mid brown bitter, this is a well rounded ale with good caramel notes drawn out of the malt by Art Brew's gas fired brewery. Tempered with Fuggles hops for a clean finish, this is the standard bitter in our collection. |
RenaissancePercentage: 4.5% ABV | Units: 2.6 per Pint A mid brown bitter, this is a well rounded ale with good caramel notes drawn out of the malt by Art Brew's gas fired brewery. Tempered with East Kent Goldings hops for a clean finish, this is the standard bitter in Art Brew's collection. |
Tempest StoutPercentage: 4.6% ABV | Units: 2.6 per Pint Dark ale which takes the classic chocolate, roasted malt flavours and tart hop notes associated with stout and blends them with the rich maltiness from the Art Brew copper. The end result; a hearty well rounded brew. |
O'Kane's WitPercentage: 4.7% ABV | Units: 2.7 per Pint A complex cloudy wheat beer in the German style. |
Monkey IPAPercentage: 6.4% ABV | Units: 3.6 per Pint A proper IPA; this golden ale weighs in at an impressive 6.4%, and is so stuffed with hops, it will make your tongue tingle. This beer is dangerously drinkable. |
