The following is a list of Arbor Ales's Real Ales that we have stocked or are coming soon.
Bramling Cross (Single Hop Series)Percentage: 4% ABV | Units: 2.3 per Pint Brewed with just low colour Maris Otter malt and a little wheat for head retention, Arbor Ales selected some of the more "interesting" hops and added several bucket loads to each brew. Currently using the Bramling Cross hops, usually found in darker beers and known for its blackcurrant flavour and aroma. |
Motueka (Single Hop Series)Percentage: 4% ABV | Units: 2.3 per Pint Brewed with just low colour Maris Otter malt and a little wheat for head retention, Arbor Ales selected some of the more "interesting" hops and added several bucket loads to each brew. This beer was brewed using one of our favourites, New Zealand Motueka. Expect a tropical citrus twist with hints of lemon and lime. |
Simcoe (Single Hop Series)Percentage: 4% ABV | Units: 2.3 per Pint Brewed with just low colour Maris Otter malt and a little wheat for head retention, Arbor Ales selected some of the more "interesting" hops and added several bucket loads to each brew. Tettnang (Single Hop Series)Percentage: 4% ABV | Units: 2.3 per Pint Brewed with just low colour Maris Otter malt and a little wheat for head retention, Arbor Ales selected some of the more "interesting" hops and added several bucket loads to each brew. This beer was brewed using a less common hop, Tettnang. Expect a lightly bitter beer with a spicy aroma and a dry finish. |
Hunny BeerPercentage: 4.2% ABV | Units: 2.4 per Pint Hunny Beer is an amber ale brewed with wild blossom honey and German hops. Not too sweet, as you might at first expect, the delicate flavours from the honey are balanced with an initial bitterness followed by a smooth "lager-like" hoppy finish. |
Brigstow BitterPercentage: 4.3% ABV | Units: 2.4 per Pint Brigstow Bitter is an easy drinking, tawny best bitter. The colour and malty taste come from the crystal and cara malts added to the mash. Arbor Ales then use all English hops in the copper - Challenger for bitterness, followed by a huge amount of Fuggles & East Kent Goldings for flavour and aroma. |
Oyster StoutPercentage: 4.6% ABV | Units: 2.6 per Pint The multi-award winning Oyster Stout is brewed with ten different grains, including oats, wheat and a few specialty malts. Fuggles, East Kent Golding and Bramling Cross hops are added during the boil along with fresh oysters, shells and all, during the last fifteen minutes. A smooth chocolaty stout that leaves you wanting more. |
