Our Bar Meals
We are accreddited with the "Direct from Dorset" award for maintaining a high level of locally sourced products. Where possible our meals are home-made.
We regret that we do not take table bookings as we are unable to offer table service. First find a table where you would like to eat, go to the food counter (in the Dorset bar) where the large blackboard menus are located and place your order, your meals will be brought to your table.
The following is a selection from our bar menu, we also have a large range of Children's Meals, Salads, Ploughman's, Rolls, Daily Specials and Desserts available.

Beef Bourguignon, beef in a rich red wine and onion sauce.Chicken Stroganoff in a cream and brandy sauce served with rice.
Dorset Chicken Supreme stuffed with brie wrapped in bacon with a blue cheese sauce.
Fisherman's Pie, fresh fish cooked in a cream and white wine sauce, topped with mashed potato and cheese.
Mexican Chip Butty - Garlic Break with chips on top covered in Chilli-Con-Carne and then grilled with cheese on top.
Indian Chip Butty - Garlic Break with chips on top covered in Chicken or Vegetable Curry and then grilled with cheese on top.
All Castle Inn Specials are served with fresh vegetables of the day and new potatoes.
