Morris Dancers: Frome Valley Morris
30th July 2009 - 9pm Onwards.Frome Valley Morris was formed in 1978 and is based in south Dorset. They are distinguished by their white clothing, black top hats and blue, white and green ribbons.
Frome Valley Morris dance mainly in the Cotswold style of Morris. The earliest records of such dances date back some 500 years, although the true origins are probably much earlier. They also occasionally perform sword dances from the north of England, and Border style dances from the Welsh borders.
